Noticed it this morning when a Camaro was driving by. See the line and part of the body that flows into the side mirrors? By the gods is it awful looking. I mean, I was never a huge fan of this design, but blimey. It just feels so... I don't know how to put it. It just doesn't look right.

Anyone else have for/against opinions of this thing?

Also the stock ride height on these things is so tall for the body style, it's gross.

I've always pretty much hated the F bodies but never noticed this either. It really does make it that much worse.

It looks gross. Never been a fan of that bodystyle in general though.

I kinda like it. Its like they tried to style the mirrors into the body unlike most modern cars where they look like an after thought.

I actually didn't realize this gen of Camaro had this! I can't unsee it. I'm not a huge fan but it doesn't really change my opinion of the car.

I'd still hoon it.

I'm a Mustang guy, but I had a black 1996 Camaro and really liked it. I see what you meant about the mirror/pillar area, but overall I remember that design (along with the Firebird, which was prettier) being pretty amazing compared to the boxy early 90s cars.

Really, you never noticed? The Firebird didn't have it (thankfully)

The Ford Probe had similar mirrors

Unfortunately they had to fold to be sold in Europe, and well.....yeah...

It's sculpted, and yet doesn't line up! Why!?

Yeah, call me slow. Just something I never thought about, and this morning it clicked.

And that silver Probe looks absolutely awful.

Looks fine. This is the first time anyone has ever complained about that ever.

What goes around comes around. The new mustang is just as guilty of looking like a fish.

I owned an 02 Z28. My first car I miss so dearly...and I loved it. I thought it was a nice little bit of aero for the time, and blended nicely. The black does make it stick out more though, I had a pewter one. Still love it.

The "B pillar" or whatever you would call this section of ill fitting window where they added a piece, was the imperfection that always caught my eye. I never noticed the mirror thing - it had to be so much extra work to make it that way...ponderous
